Scientists who track global threats to humanity have pushed the symbolic Doomsday Clock closer to catastrophe than at any point since it was created.
The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists announced on Tuesday that the clock now stands at less than a minute and a half to midnight, a theoretical point that represents global destruction.
