Atlantic City – America's Playground Coming this March to Fallout 76

More reasons to explore Atlantic City. (Credit: Bethesda)

When Atlantic City was opened up in Fallout 76 last year, players get to visit new places and encounter new people. If you're looking for more than we have good news! Atlantic City – America's Playground is bringing with it a new Expedition Mission along with new Side Quests. It arrives to the game courtesy of a major update which comes out on March 26.

What's happening this time around? As a quick recap, the Atlantic City Boardwalk had the Showmen and The Family. This time around there's trouble brewing, and Mayor Tim is now asking for your help to fight against an Overgrown.

The Family

In addition to the problem with the Overgrown, there's also the matter of the Russo family. You see, when they left Atlantic City, their plan was to open a new nightclub in the Appalachia. They did so hoping to have a quiet life this time around. As it turns out, it's not that easy to let go of dark pasts. As they try to make sense of their new lives, the Russo continues to deal with issues like addiction, notoriety and even family loyalty. Should you decide to lend a hand, you'll be headed to the shadier side of Atlantic City and could even uncover the secrets of Devil's Blood.

More to Explore

When the update goes live, it's going to expand New Jersey which means you get to explore more of the City. You can do this at your own pace or take on new Side Quests. You can meet with the local merchants for example and shop. You can put on your detective hand and look for a missing journalist who was chronicling the Blood Eagles.

If you want to get an early look at this upcoming update, you can join the Public Test Servers.

Burning Love

If you're not in the mood to go to Atlantic City, then check out the Burning Love event. Beginning January 30, you can head on over to the Atomic Shop and get the Hot Rod Pink Flamer skin for free. You can then use it to complete Special Burning Love Weekly challenges and in return earn in-game rewards. If you complete four of the five Weekly Challenges, then you get to the Weekly Challenge Reward. These are:

  • Week 1 Challenge Reward: Pink Mechanic Jumpsuit
  • Week 2 Challenge Reward: Rose Tinted Glasses

The event ends February 13.

Fallout 76 is available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
