One Battlefield 6 player has maxed out what is undoubtedly the worst vehicle in the game for no reason other than to flex it.
Battlefield 6's worst vehicle is undoubtedly the Light Ground Transport (LGT), a jeep that offers no protection to the soldiers riding inside. Despite its mounted machine gun being a menace to anyone who appears in its sights, chances are that won't ever be a problem, as whoever decides to go onto that machine gun will likely have already been blown to pieces. This has led to it being called the "death trap" by some members of the community.
Battlefield player and Reddit user Renegade_Soviet posted onto the Battlefield subreddit showing that he has become perhaps one of the only people to level the vehicle up to rank 50, saying the reward is an "insane skin for a badge that makes you lose your sanity." Meanwhile, the comments are a mixture of calling it a badass feat and asking why someone would put themselves through that.
Rank 50 for the death trap, never removing this badge from r/Battlefield
After posting his feat of endurance onto Reddit, Renegade caught up with PC Gamer to explain the thought process. He explains, "I wanted to have the level 50 [jeep] badge on my profile as kind of a flex, since I know not too many people will get it."
And with such a universally hated vehicle, naturally the other question is how he actually managed to pull it off. Renegade explains, "I would wait at the objectives or narrow pathways and wait for [enemies] to come towards me." The whole process took place "off and on over the course of a month." Plus, it's not even like he could make it easier by doing this in casual playlists, as he adds, "I didn't do it on casual mode since it only gives a fraction of the XP for bot kills."
And after a month of using the derided vehicle and countless hours of grinding, Renegade has come to the conclusion: "It's a bad vehicle." He explains: "Even a simple shield on the machine gun would greatly improve your ability to be effective as a gunner."
