MI5 has warned that academics could be unknowingly helping to develop Chinese spy tech - (PA Wire)

At least 100 academics with UK links may have unwittingly been part of projects paid for by Chinese intelligence to develop Beijing spy technology, UK security services have warned.

MI5 has urged academics to review any current or future work it has with the China General Technology Research Institute (CGTRI) – sometimes translated as China Academy of General Technology (CAGT).
