When it comes to the cost of living which is sadly on the rise, many people have been looking ways to save money on their shopping and energy bills.
Sadly however as appliances gets older, the higher the chance it has of breaking and not working to the standards that we expect it to.
Because of this we end up eating into our budget, like our weekly food shop, in order to pay for repairs and replacements.

But if you're in a sticky situation and your iron is no longer working, people at Asda have pointed out a bargain that you'll want to run to the shops to grab.
Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, an Asda shopper captioned their photo "£5 Asda so happy".
The post has since gained almost 500 comments and 1.5k reactions.
The iron appears to be Russell Hobbs 'Freedom Cordless 23300 2400 Watt Iron' which comes in the colours purple and white.

It is currently listed on some sites as retailing for £45 - £40 more expensive than the supermarket is selling it for and boasts an automatic switch off when not in use, ceramic soleplate glides easily over all fabrics as well as continuous steam output of 40 grams per minute.
In response to the steal of a price one said: "I have one exactly .like that and I love it."
Another added: "Great iron. Even have a spare one in case. Yes it does need charging often. Give you time to straighten the item to carry on ironing."
A third said: "Amazing well done that’s a great deal."
