An Asda shopper has been left in awe after bagging themselves a major bargain at the supermarket. On the popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a customer explained how they managed to buy a total of nine high-end brand skincare products for just £8.
Many fellow members were wowed by the deal as the products they listed usually cost around £10 each or more. In a picture of the nine items, it showed various Nip + Fab products from its Salicylic range, including: two gel cleansers, two bottles of concentration drops, two tubs of cotton pads, a bottle of serum, a moisturiser and a facial scrub.
On the official Nip + Fab website, if shoppers were to buy this same amount online right now, it would meaning forking out a whopping for £103.55 the nine items. Below is the individual price of each on the Nip + Fab website.
- Two Salicylic Fix Gel Cleanser - £7.45 each (reduced from £9.95).
- One Salicylic Fix Scrub Average - £6.95 (reduced from £9.95).
- One Salicylic Fix Moisturiser - £14.95 (reduced from £19.95).
- One Salicylic Fix Serum Extreme 2% - £14.95 (reduced from £19.95).
- Two Salicylic Fix Concentrate Extreme 2% - £14.95 (reduced from £19.95).
- Two Salicylic Fix Night Pads - £10.95 (reduced from £14.95).
The Asda shoppers claims to have bought all these for just a mere £8. Alongside the picture of the products, they wrote: "£8 for all this from Asda, these usually range from £8 upwards per item depending on offers."
However, a look on Asda's Nip+Fab Salicylic listings on its website shows each items being sold for its usual full retail price (without any reductions). But, it means it is still worth checking branches near you to check for any bargain clearances or discount deals.
In the comment section, Maxine Gray claimed: "These have been in my local clearance for ages but still about £4." In response to Charley Jane King who asked: "What Asda was this?", the original poster replied: "Langley mill," which is village in Derbyshire.
Samantha Hoofe quizzed: "How did u get it all for £8?", and the shopper put: "Clearance for £1 each, the till op miscounted and accidentally gave me one for free (I didn't notice until after)." Another user asked where the items were located, and the bargain wrote: "Clearance section."
Emma Herring praised: "What a bargain I pay fortunes just for the pads word wonders xx we’ll done xx." Katarzyna Słowińska declared: "Omg need to check mine tomorrow." Christina Gray said: "I got loads yesterday 56p each this brand and others."
