A kind-hearted Asda employee has melted hearts online after he showed true compassion to a woman who couldn't pay for her shopping.
The man, referred to only as Ron, came to the rescue of the customer at the Trafford Park, Manchester, shop after she realised she had left her card at home.
He generously offered to pay for the woman's shopping out of his own pocket - and has now been nominated for an Asda Service Superstar Award after the shopper wrote to the store to thank Ron for his kind deed, reports the Manchester Evening News.
