Asda has recalled its festive mince pies as warnings are issued over products in other big name supermarkets.
Product recalls have been made in several well known stores over health and safety issues.
Aldi, Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Iceland and B&M have asked customers to return certain items.
BirminghamLive reports Food Standards Agency (FSA) warnings include three types of supermarket mince pies, Pilau rice and hot chocolate.
Families are advised to check their cupboards and freezers in case they have bought affected products.
Some items may contain pieces of plastic while others are being recalled because of allergy ingredients not mentioned on labels.
Any shoppers affected should take the items back to the store for a full refund.

Asda
Asda is taking action by recalling three types of Asda Extra Special Mince Pies because they may contain pieces of plastic.
The supermarket also warned they are unsafe to eat and listed the recalled products which include:
Extra Special 4 Apple & Pecan Crumble Mince Pies - Pack size: 4 pack. Best before: All dates up to and including December 13, 2022.
Extra Special 4 Extra Indulgent Mince Pies - Pack size: 4 pack. Best before: All dates up to and including December 28, 2022.
Extra Special 4 Crumble Top Mince Pies - Pack size: 4 pack. Best before: All dates up to and including December 13, 2022.
The FSA said: "If you have purchased any of the above products do not eat them, please return it to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.

Sainsbury's, Tesco and B&M
Nestlé UK is continuing to recall AERO Hot Chocolate products because a small number of packs may contain small pieces of food-grade silica beads, making them unsafe to eat.
They are sold through retailers Sainsbury's, Tesco and B&M and include:
AERO Hot Choc jars - Pack size: 288g. Batch code: All batch codes. Best before: All date codes.
AERO ‘Hot Choc’ sachets - Pack size: 24g. Batch code: All batch codes. Best before: All date codes.
AERO GO Instant ‘Hot Choc’ - Pack size: 28g. Batch code: All batch codes. Best before: All date codes.
The FSA said: "If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them.
"Instead, dispose of the contents and send the lid of the jar, the empty sachet or the sleeve of the cups (cardboard of plastic 8-sleeve) with your name and address for a full refund to AERO Hot Chocolate Recall, PO BOX 205, Freepost 1374, York, YO91 1XB.

Aldi
Aldi is continuing to recall Gianni’s Milk Chocolate Lollies because they may contain almonds (nuts) not highlighted on the label.
The FSA said 'a packaging error meant some packs were incorrectly packed with Gianni’s Almond Lollies..
It only affects products sold at a limited number of Aldi stores in the Midlands. The recalled product is:
Gianni’s Milk Chocolate Lollies - Pack size: 4 pack. Best before: September 2024.
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to almonds (nuts), do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Iceland
Iceland Foods is recalling Iceland Takeaway Pilau Rice because it contains egg, sesame, soya and wheat, not mentioned on the label.
The FSA said the product has been incorrectly packed with egg fried rice.
There is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or wheat (gluten) and/or an allergy to sesame and/or soya. The recalled product is:
Iceland Takeaway Pilau Rice - Pack size: 350g. Best before: January 10, 2024.
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or wheat (gluten) and/or an allergy to sesame and/or soya do not eat it.
"Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further information, contact Iceland Customer Care on 0800 328 0800 option 2."

Marussia Beverages UK has recalled various Mozart Liqueurs because they contain milk not mentioned on the label.
