Shoppers have praised Asda after it announced a generous £5 gesture to all of its Christmas customers.
The supermarket giant has launched a frozen Christmas dinner in order to help feed a family of five, valued at only £4.40 per head. The festive dinner includes a turkey, sliced carrots, peas, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and Yorkshire puddings.
Overall, the frozen Christmas Dinner will cost £21.48 for a whole family. Asda also announced that its Rewards App users will earn £1.50 in their cash pot when they spend £20 on selected frozen Christmas dinner essentials.

The move has been met with a lot of praise from shoppers who may have been anxious about spending a fortune for Christmas dinner. One Facebook user commented: "I've got a frozen dinner coming from a fancy place. Nothing wrong with it. I'm disabled an unable to do all the prep so these dinners are fantastic.
"I've got all the trimings coming. Lovely. I hope this idea helps others."
Another user wrote: "Very good idea for people juggling with time and energy costs, life saver for some and a good price I think."
