Asda man praised for reaction when customer couldn't pay

An Asda worker has been praised for his reaction when a customer was left unable to pay for their shopping.

The shop worker, named by Asda as Ron, stepped in when a woman realised she had left her payment card at home when she went shopping, reports MEN.

Taking to social media, an Asda spokesman said: "Everyone at our Trafford Park store is so proud of their colleague Ron who paid for a regular customer's shopping out of his own pocket after she'd accidentally left her bank card at home.
