Asda is scrapping its discount scheme for NHS workers and others following an announcement sent to customers.
The supermarket giant confirmed in an email that it will diminish the scope of its Blue Light discounts. It comes just weeks after shoppers were given the ability to add the Blue Light Card to its Rewards app.
Among the items no longer covered under the 10 per cent discount include frozen food, baby food, all fuel, pet food, non-fresh such as tinned food, and Smart Price and Just Essentials products. The change will be implemented on Thursday, June 15, Leeds Live reports.
