As everyone continues to fear $80 GTA 6, Take-Two CEO says "we do feel a compact with the consumer" and wants to "deliver way more value than what we charge"

As discussions about GTA 6 costing $80 or even $100 continue to strike fear into the hearts of many, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has commented on keeping the game affordable.

While there hasn't really been concrete evidence – or anything to actually spur the discussion – everyone collectively decided one day to fear that GTA 6 would have a high price point. For years, people have been speculating whether Rockstar will charge more than the typical game price, with the prevailing thought being that if any game could get away with it, it would be one as anticipated as GTA 6. And while the idea of a $100 GTA was probably a bit over the top, with Nintendo charging $80 for Mario Kart World, the floodgate was opened for others to follow suit.
