The summer transfer window is underway and Arsenal continue to be linked with a number of top-class players.
Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his squad and end the north Londoners' six-year UEFA Champions League hiatus. The Spaniard is looking to bring in at least one forward, a central midfielder and a backup fullback, football.london understands.

Nkunku move
Arsenal were said to be interested in signing Christopher Nkunku back in 2019 before he eventually swapped Paris Saint-Germain for Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig. The Frenchman has recently been linked with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United and football.london can confirm that the Blues do indeed admire the talented playmaker.
Now, the Independent have reported that Leipzig have set a price for the 24-year-old at £100million whilst the player would prefer to stay with the German outfit this summer. Still, the same report goes on to say that the Gunners, along with the aforementioned PSG would be willing to pay Leipzig's asking price - a deal that would smash the north Londoners' current record of £72million.
The former PSG playmaker enjoyed an excellent 2021/22 campaign, netting a whopping 35 goals and providing a further 14 assists across all competitions. He has also made it no secret of his love for Paris, potentially meaning a return to former club PSG could be on the cards.

Gabriel Jesus meeting
The agent of City frontman Jesus is reportedly meeting with Serie A giants Juventus this week as the former Palmeiras striker seeks a move away from the Etihad Stadium. football.london understands that the Brazilian international is a priority target for the Gunners this summer, and technical director Edu has held talks with the player's representatives in recent months.
The likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move in recent times and Italian outer Calciomercato have now reported that the player's agent will meet with the Turin-based club in the coming days. Still, the report goes on to say that it is Arsenal who are in 'pole position' to sign him this summer.
Raphinha latest
The Athletic have reported that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are targeting Leeds United winger Raphinha this summer as the two north London clubs look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. It has been widely reported that Barcelona is the Brazilian international's ideal destination, although it is now claimed that there are growing concerns over whether or not the La Liga club can afford to fund a deal for the former Lille wide man.
The report also claims that if Spurs do sign Raphinha, they won't also add Everton's Richarlison to their ranks, with Antonio Conte's side said to be keen to bring just one of the Brazilians to north London this summer.
