Rice medical
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Declan Rice will undergo his Arsenal medical today ahead of his £105million transfer to Mikel Arteta's side.
Writing on Twitter last night, Romano said: "Arsenal have booked medical tests for Declan Rice on Friday. Club record signing will complete tests tomorrow.
"Documents being checked and set to be signed within 24 hours between #AFC and West Ham. Club record deal now finally set to be officially completed."
Xhaka departs
Arsenal announced that Granit Xhaka has left the club for Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
As football.london reported earlier this week, Xhaka's exit will land the Gunners £21.5million, a more than fair price considering he is now 30 years old. After the move was confirmed, Mikel Arteta made it clear how much he appreciates the Swiss international and everything he gave for the club.

"We wish Granit all the best for the future." Arteta told the club's official media team. "We are saying goodbye to a fantastic player and person loved by all of us.
"It has been an incredible journey together for him and he has given absolutely everything for this club. The influence Granit has had on his team-mates on the pitch and colleagues at the club, will tell you just how popular he is.
"We cannot thank Granit enough for his service and contribution to this club over the years. We wish Granit and his family all the best in the next step of their lives."
Lavia latest
According to Sky Sports, Southampton are confident they will be able to receive close to £50million for midfielder Romeo Lavia this summer.
The report goes on to claim that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all engaged with the player's representatives regarding a potential transfer. However, both the Gunners and the Reds are said to be unwilling to bid that high for the Belgian international.
