Arsenal have completed the signing of young defender Jaden Dixon.

Dixon, a England U19 international, has joined Arsenal on transfer deadline day from Championship side Stoke, penning a four-year deal in the process.

Standard Sport understands the deal is worth £3.2million plus bonuses and that the Gunners view this a massive signing.

Dixon has attracted interest from Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Utrecht, and NEC Nijmegen over the past year.

However, he had his sights set on a return to north London - having left Tottenham in the summer of 2023 - from the moment the Gunners came in.

Dixon is capable of operating as a full-back on both sides but is predominately a central defender and has made six senior appearances for Stoke.

The 18-year-old could be a direct replacement for Maldini Kacurri who departed for League Two side Grimsby last week.

The 20-year-old left Arsenal on a permanent basis on what was the third deal done by the club in the January transfer window prior.

Ethan Nwaneri and Louie Copley have also left the Gunners in the winter window, joining Marseille and Crawley on loan respectively.

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko has completed a permanent move to Ajax after his loan spell at Nottingham Forest was cut short following limited game time during the first half of the season.
