Arsenal rue £132m transfer mistake as Chelsea and Man United eye 'next Didier Drogba' swoop

The board at Arsenal will be watching the Victor Osimhen bidding war unfold from behind their sofas after narrowly missing out on the striker six years ago. The Napoli striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League recently as he continues to impress for the Italian giants.

Osimhen, who sees his deal expire in 2025, has featured 22 times for Luciano Spalletti's side this season, directly contributing towards 24 goals. His awe-inspiring performances have guided Gli Azzurri to the brink of a Champions League quarter-final and 18 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan in Serie A.

According to the Mirror, Todd Boehly is prepared to rival Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the Nigeria international in the summer. The report states that Napoli could demand a record-breaking fee for Osimhen; BBC Sport claim that the striker could cost between €100m (£89m) and €150m (£131.6m).
