This is in relation to a rather worrying image that first emerged on Instagram of the attacking midfielder wearing a protective boot on his left foot just days before he is due to join up with his new teammates at London Colney for pre-season training ahead of next week's trip to Germany.
Although, there was cause for Arsenal supporters to breathe a huge sigh of relief as this is a knock he sustained at the beginning of last month whilst in action for the Portugal U21s as it was confirmed at the time that he picked up an injury to his left foot in the 5-1 win over Belarus.
