Arsenal kept up their perfect record in this season’s Europa League by beating Bodo/Glimt 3-0 at Emirates Stadium.
Eddie Nketiah opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and then moments later the Gunners doubled the lead through a Rob Holding header.
Arsenal were more than worthy of their half-time lead as they dominated and controlled the game in the opening 45 minutes.
Mikel Arteta’s side dropped their performance after the break and Bodo improved, but the Gunners grabbed a third and final goal late on through Fabio Vieira.

Matt Turner 6
Had very little to do for most of the night on what was his home debut. Did make one good save 10 minutes into the second half, though, to deny Amahl Pellegrino.
Takehiro Tomiyasu 7
Put in a good performance as he bids to win back his place in the starting XI. Very solid defensively and overlapped well when he could. Finished the game at left-back.
Rob Holding 7
A rare start for the centre-back and he put in a decent performance. Passing out from the back was at times a bit loose, but took his goal really well.
Gabriel 6
Kept his place in the side, with Arsenal clearly lacking another left-footed centre-back. Had a fairly comfortable night and didn’t put a foot wrong.
Kieran Tierney 7
Looks fit again and much more like his usual self. Got up and down the left flank well, and hit the post with a stinging shot from which Nketiah scored the rebound.
Fabio Vieira 8 | Star man
Got an assist with a brilliant cross for Holding. Probably could have scored two himself in the first half, but got the goal he deserved late on before the final whistle.
Albert Sambi Lokonga 7
Had a decent performance at the base of Arsenal’s midfield. Wasn’t under too much pressure so was able to control the tempo fairly easily.
Granit Xhaka 6
A pretty quiet performance from the midfielder. He did go close to scoring in the first half when he had a free-kick tipped just over the crossbar.
Marquinhos 6
Made a bright start as he got in behind his marker. Had some nice interplay with Tomiyasu too at points, but didn’t set the place alight - like he did in Zurich.
Eddie Nketiah 8
Continues to impress whenever he is given the chance to shine. Took his goal really nicely and led the line well for most of the night.
Gabriel Martinelli 6
By his high standards the Brazilian had a pretty quiet night. He made the odd darting run out left, but was taken off before the hour mark.
Substitutions
Gabriel Jesus (Martinelli 58’) 7
Came on and played out left, so Nketiah could stay through the middle. Created Vieira’s goal with a great run.
Bukayo Saka (Marquinhos 59’) 6
Looked bright when he came on and tried to lift the tempo after a slow start to the second half.
Martin Odegaard (Xhaka 59’) 6
Typically neat and tidy on the ball. A solid 30 minutes or so from the Arsenal captain.
Ben White (Tierney 70’) 6
On for the final 20 minutes and slotted in well, with Tomiyasu shifting to left-back.
Reiss Nelson (Nketiah 82’) N/A
