Arsenal lower Bernd Leno transfer demands as Fulham talks progress

Arsenal are progressing in negotiations with Fulham over the sale of goalkeeper Bernd Leno for a fee of around £8million.

Arsenal have been in discussions with Fulham for weeks over the sale of Leno, who is ready to leave Emirates Stadium this summer.

The German lost his place as No1 last season to Aaron Ramsdale and now Matt Turner has also arrived to become the No2.

Arsenal have been holding out for around £10m for Leno, but it is now believed a deal worth approximately £8m could be struck.

Leno is open to a move to Fulham as he is keen to stay in London and continue playing in the Premier League.

The goalkeeper also has aspirations of making Germany’s World Cup squad and hopes playing regularly will aid those hopes.

Fulham have made signing a new goalkeeper a priority this summer and Leno has long since emerged as their preferred option.
