Arsenal's long-standing interest in Shaktar Donetsk forward Mykhaylo Mudryk continues to be the biggest January transfer story surrounding the Gunners with the latest update seeing the player himself open up on his admiration for Arsenal's style of play and how he keeps up to date with their results.
In an interview with Vlada Sedan, wife of Gunners star Oleksandr Zinchenko, on YouTube, Mudryk was asked a number of questions about where his future may lie, with Arsenal being mentioned on a number of occasions.
When asked which teams he thinks are playing well, Mudryk said: "Napoli, they’re playing really well at the moment with some great players, Bayern, Man City and Arsenal."

He followed up by admitting that he checks the Gunners results regularly, saying: "Yeah. I check on them in 'myscore' and know when they’re playing I can check on them.
"I also watch them too. (Arsenal are) a very dynamic side, in general not just in controlling possession but also in scoring goals."
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Arsenal would have needed to part with around €50million (£43.8million) to sign the 21-year-old in the summer window but following his impressive displays in the Champions League this season, Shakhtar's asking price is closer to €65million (£56.9million) but The Athletic have now revealed Shakhtar have told clubs that they will need to pay close to £90million.
Mudryk even went as far as saying "I'd be upset if I didn't get a move in the winter", and while Arsenal is the clear target destination for the Ukrainian international, the Gunners may be forced away from the move in January due to the large increase in asking price.
However, another forward on the radar of Edu and Mikel Arteta is RB Salzburg's Noah Okafor, who was once described by Romano as a 'jewel', and a recent report has revealed the price tag set by the Austrian champions could be a far more appealing piece of January business to Arsenal.
Tutto Mercato Web claim that Salzburg will demand around €35 million (£30million) for the 22-year-old with Arsenal interested, alongside fellow Premier League London rivals West Ham and Chelsea. All three clubs are looking for more depth in attack as they each embark on completing their own ambitions for the 2022/23 season.
Okafor has 10 goals and two assists from 22 appearances this season, which like Mudryk, has included impressive displays on the European stage where he has scored three goals, with one of those being the equaliser that prevented Graham Potter from winning his first game as Chelsea manager.
Salzburg finished third in their Champions League group and will drop down to the Europa League knockout round play-off where they could face Mikel Arteta's side if they beat Europa Conference League holders AS Roma.
