Mikel Arteta has become synonymous with his pre-match team talks and training methods ever since footage of Arsenal's All or Nothing Amazon documentary was released last year.
Of course, not all of the Gunners manager's approaches have paid off. In preparation for an away game against Liverpool, he played the club's famous 'You'll Never Walk Alone' anthem through the speakers on the training pitch - which as explained by Aaron Ramsdale done to get the players ready for a hostile atmosphere at Anfield.
However, it's safe to say the plan backfired in spectacular fashion as Arsenal were beaten 4-0 last November - with Arteta losing his cool on the touchline with Jurgen Klopp - and for that reason, the speakers aren't expected to make another appearance at London Colney any time soon.

But what is here to stay is the Spaniard inspiring his side before they walk out onto the pitch. An example of this was shown in episode six of the aforementioned Arsenal: All or Nothing Amazon series, where Arteta can be seen giving his pre-match team talk ahead of the Brentford home game last season.
Once he had gone over a few tactical details, there was somewhat of a unique twist as he had one final message for the players before they left the changing room.
"Before I go, because it’s still in my stomach and I have managed to keep it for four months, five months, six months," Arteta said, whilst pointing to the aforementioned tweet on the screen. "This is Toney after the game when we played at Brentford. You know what he did?
"You know his tweet? Nice kick about with the boys this afternoon. So today they play in our house, guys there is only one team on that f***ing pitch – and it’s us! Only one team, it’s like they don’t play football. We take that f***ing ball, we take the game, we go for it and let’s f***ing win this game!"
Fortunately for Arteta, showing the players Toney's tweet clearly worked a treat and former captain Alexandre Lacazette couldn't resist the temptation of taking to Twitter and tweeting the exact same words after the game as the Gunners gained a measure of revenge.
And for Sunday's North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur, Arteta was up to his old tricks once again as his team talk has been revealed thanks to footage from Gabriel Magalhaes' Instagram account. As seen in the image below, behind the defender is an Arsenal-themed banner stuck on the wall that reads 'IDENTITY'.
Arteta's team talk certainly did the trick as an own goal from Hugo Lloris and a superb strike from Martin Odegaard in a dominant first-half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was enough for Arsenal to complete a Premier League double over their bitter rivals and the Spaniard certainly got his wish of seeing identity from his players.
"I’m very happy for two reasons. One because I saw a team with a lot of courage, determination, quality and that really wanted it today to come here and win," the Spaniard said in his post-match press conference. "And the other one where we have a job where we are really privileged to make people happy and when you have this opportunity you have to really try and do it.
"So the enjoyment and sharing the victory with our fans it was a great feeling and all the suffering that we do it makes a lot of sense in moments like this."
