New Arsenal signing Fabio Vieira has sparked injury fears after being pictured wearing a protective boot.
The Gunners last month wrapped up a £34million move for the young Porto midfielder after under-the-radar negotiations secured an exciting young talent, who scored seven times and racked up 16 assists last season.
Vieira has signed a five-year deal and will hope to continue his development in north London.
Though Arsenal fans may have to wait a little longer to see their new signing in action after Vieira was pictured wearing a protective boot. A photo was posted on Twitter with the caption: “Fabio Vieira has a foot injury. Seen here with a protective boot on.”

Arteta will hope to integrate his new signing as soon as possible, with the new season starting on August 5.
Arsenal's pre-season schedule begins next week in Germany, with a friendly against FC Nurnberg, before they fly to the United States for games against Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea.
The Gunners' final pre-season fixture is a home clash between Sevilla on July 30.
