Arsenal handed triple fitness boost but summer signing absent from training ahead of Brentford

The Arsenal players are back on home soil following a 10-day pre-season tour of the United States.

And in a major boost for Gunners manager Mikel Arteta, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney, and Emile Smith Rowe are amongst the senior squad members to have been spotted in a training session at London Colney ahead of Wednesday's friendly against fellow Premier League outfit Brentford.

As previously reported by football.london, the north London outfit had been hopeful of scheduling one more pre-season fixture to the calendar on either side of Saturday's Emirates Cup clash against Sevilla. The big Premier League opener away at Crystal Palace a week on Friday.
