Arsenal are set for a busy summer as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad ahead of the return of European football. The Gunners were made to settle for the Europa League in the end but it is a challenge Arteta will be relishing.
The number one target for next season will be to challenge Spurs and take their place in the top-four, but Antonio Conte's side have already strengthened after the arrival of Ivan Perisic on a free transfer. The Gunners spent more than £140 million on recruits last summer and expect to see a similar expenditure this time around too.
Plenty of exciting names have already been linked with moves to the Emirates but what is the latest emerging from the club? With that in mind, football.london takes a look at the latest news and transfer rumours.

Oleksandr Zinchenko boost
Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan had already been linked with moves to the Emirates before a third Manchester City name emerged in the form of versatile left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian has been a reliable performer for Pep Guardiola throughout his tenure at the Etihad but Arteta is eager to tempt him away from his former colleague.
They received a boost this week too when the Manchester Evening News reported that City would need to persuade Zinchenko that he will receive more regular game time to tempt him to stay. But with Joao Cancelo to compete with, that could be a tough ask.
Lucas Torreira's decision
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has confirmed that he is looking to leave the Gunners this summer after spending the season on loan with Fiorentina. A move back to the Serie A side is most likely and the Uruguayan has admitted that is what he wants.
Torreira scored five goals and provided two assists this season and his future seems set away from north London. Speaking to FanPage, he said: "My intention is to stay at Fiorentina, but the club will need to find an agreement with Arsenal. I am very well in Florence. I am very well in Italy."
Youri Tielemans decision
Arsenal are set to bolster their midfield this summer with Leicester ace Youri Tielemans high on their wishlist. The Belgian has been a crucial part of Brendan Rodgers' time at the King Power Stadium but a departure now seems likely.
"Arsenal are still interested in Youri Tielemans, plans have not changed. He’s a target for the midfield - but it’s not an imminent deal as negotiations will take some time," transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported. "Two other clubs are also in the race for Tielemans, he’s gonna leave Leicester this summer."
