Arsenal half time player ratings vs Orlando City as Lokonga and Nketiah impress but Mari is poor

Aaron Ramsdale: A very nice save to keep Arsenal in front. Couldn't do anything to keep the eventual equaliser out. Looked solid enough for the rest of the half. 7.

Cedric: A few moments where the ball got a bit stuck under his feet, but the Portuguese full-back's delivery was as reliable as ever. 7.

Rob Holding: Bizarrely booked early on by an overzealous referee, but trod the tight rope well after that. Some nice distribution from the back too. 6.

Pablo Mari: Was out of position on a few occasions, particularly during Michel's big chance. One slightly panicked industrial clearance at the near post too. Far from convincing yet again for the Spaniard. 4.

Nuno Tavares: Caught out of position in the build up to Torres' goal and allowed him to cut inside. Did OK aside from that though, particularly in the opposition half. 5

Mohamed Elneny: The typical Mo Elneny performance at the base of midfield. Economical in possession, positionally disciplined. His consistency will be a useful tool as the season goes on. 6.

Albert Sambi Lokonga: Linked up nicely with Gabriel Martinelli in the build up to his goal. Looks so much more comfortable as an eight than a six. 7.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Some poor passing choices in the final third. Looked a little off the pace. Not enough to have earned himself the move he probably wants. 5.

Nicolas Pepe: Simply refuses to use his right foot, but that's nothing new. Working pretty hard as he tries to impress enough to earn himself a move, but it's not paying off for him at the minute. 6.

Eddie Nketiah: Looked pretty bright in the middle and showed good centre forward play as he turned nicely away from pressure during an Arsenal counter attack. Would have wanted to be more of a goal threat, but still a decent outing. 7.

Gabriel Martinelli: The issue of playing with his head down is still a problem in the final third, but his finishing is still looking good. This goal was deflected in, but he was by far Arsenal's most consistent attacking threat. 7.
