The key Arsenal transfer headlines on Sunday, July 24.
Tavares decision
Arsenal will make a final decision on the future of Nuno Tavares next week, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 22-year-old defender has been heavily linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer after falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.
It's said that talks are ongoing with Atalanta over a loan move, but the inclusion of an option-to-buy clause is stalling negotiations. Tavares, who sees his contract at the Emirates Stadium expire in 2025, is keen on an exit from London Colney.
He is currently valued at around £25.5million by CIES Footballl Observatory, meaning that the Gunners could unlock a healthy windfall. But, for now, it's up to Edu, Arteta and the Arsenal entourage to decide as to what the best plan of action is regarding the solution to Tavares' future.

Tielemans transfer problem
Mikel Arteta has been told how Arsenal technical director Edu can complete the signing of Youri Tielemans, but a difficult decision has to be made. The 25-year-old faces an increasingly uncertain future at Leicester City as he enters the final 12 months of his deal at the King Power Stadium.
football.london understand that the Gunners are interested in signing the Belgium international despite having already signed a midfielder this summer in the shape of Fabio Vieira. And, initially, it looked as if the former Porto star's move to north London would deter Tielemans from penning a deal in north London.
With Arsenal having held long interest in the Belgian and the Foxes leaving the door open to exits, he could well be on the move in the coming weeks. However, according to Goal, it could require a high-profile player to leave in order for Tielemans to pen a deal at London Colney, with the new Premier League campaign now just around the corner.
Arsenal table mega offer
Arsenal have offered Bukayo Saka new long-term contract that would see him become one of the club’s best paid players, according to the Daily Mail. The 20-year-old, who is said to currently be on £70,000-per-week, sees his deal at the Emirates Stadium expire in two years.
The report claims that there is no agreement between either party, but there's confidence at Arsenal that a new deal would ward off interest from Manchester City, who see the youngster as a replacement for Raheem Sterling. Saka has been a talisman for Arteta in recent seasons and his departure would likely be devastating.
