Arsenal youngster Arthur Okonkwo has completed his move to League Two outfit, Crewe Alexandra, on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old was a regular feature in the Gunners' academy last season, predominantly for the Under-23's where he impressed the likes of Per Mertesacker, who is the current manager of the Arsenal youth set-up.
The former Arsenal centre-back and world cup winner has previously stated that once young players are in a position where they won't learn much more from playing in the academy, it's then down on the club to find possible solutions where minutes in senior football can be obtained.

Clearly, the club view Okonkwo as a player who is now ready to make the transition into men's football and a move to League Two will hopefully aid the goalkeeper's development.
Okonkwo will essentially be given plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent, learn from mistakes that he may make, build confidence and come back to Arsenal as a far more refined player with much-needed experience under his belt.
Elsewhere in regards to the club's goalkeeping situation, Bernd Leno looks to be edging closer to completing an £8million move to Fulham. The German has been a top servant for the club since arriving in north London back in 2018 but simply just doesn't offer Arsenal enough quality in possession and therefore not suited to Mikel Arteta's style of play.
New signing Matt Turner will be the backup option to Aaron Ramsdale, whilst Karl Hein could perhaps be given a promotion following Okonkwo's loan move.
