Oleksandr Zinchenko is on the verge of becoming Arsenal's fifth signing of the summer transfer window, thus reuniting with Mikel Arteta and Gabriel Jesus.
The Gunners, who narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification last season, wasted little time in bolstering their squad in the attempt to go one better in the 2022/23 campaign by completing deals for Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner before the beginning of July.
Of course, Arsenal's major summer signing so far has been Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian sealed a £45m move from Manchester City at the beginning of the month and has already shown signs of being a game changer for Arteta's side with three goals in two pre-season outings.

Not content with raiding his former club for one player, Arteta is going back in for a second, and all signs point towards the Gunners wrapping up their fifth signing of the summer fairly soon.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the north London outfit had agreed to a £30m fee with Man City for Zinchenko. Recent developments, as per The Athletic, suggest a deal has moved even closer to being finalised as personal terms have been sorted and a medical has been scheduled.
Once the 25-year-old passes those tests and signs his contract to officially complete his move to Arsenal, naturally, supporters will be looking forward to seeing the midfielder holding up the Gunners shirt at his unveiling - although he won't have the number 11 on the back as that is taken by Gabriel Martinelli.
But as explained by @RizviKR10 on Twitter, the unveiling of Zinchenko is just as important as the signing - if not more so - with the user recommending a creative way for an announcement video using Gabriel Jesus due to the fact they were teammates at Man City as recently as three weeks ago.
"Can we do a re-incarnation of 'Yo Pierre' announcement with Gabriel Jesus dialling and asking Zinchenko to join?@Arsenal," the tweets states.
This suggestion is in reference to when Henrikh Mkhitaryan was used in the "Yo Pierre" welcome video in the 2018 January transfer window upon being reunited with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal, as the pair had previously played together at Borussia Dortmund.
Having signed Gabriel Jesus, agreed a fee with Man City and sorted personal terms with Zinchenho. The Gunners have effectively completed the first three steps towards making the suggested transfer video announcement a reality, as all that remains is a successful medical and for the contract to be signed.
