Arriva have restricted buses after 6pm on an estate with hundreds of homes.
The travel provider announced at 3.30pm on Thursday, October 20, they would be restricting its 413, 414 and 423 services from stopping on the Leasowe estate after 6pm - effective immediately. Arriva said this was due to instances of antisocial behaviour around the Twickenham Drive area in recent days and added that police were investigating.
Buses will now be diverted via Leasowe Castle "until further notice". Arriva is the only travel provider that visits the estate after 6pm, with people only being able to us a train, taxi or car after 6pm.
