A man was left seriously injured after an attack at a house in Salford.
Police officers were scrambled to the scene of the assault at a property on Manchester Road West in the Little Hulton area last night (Wednesday). Officers responded at around 10pm.
The man suffered seriously injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage. Another man, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of assault, police said.

An investigation is ongoing with a cordon remaining in place around the property this morning. One police car was stationed on the scene this morning, near the junction with Oakfield Drive.
In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 10pm last night (Wednesday 5 July 2023), officers responded to reports of an assault at a property in Manchester Road West, Little Hulton. One man received serious injuries, not currently believed to be life-threatening.
"One man, aged 25, has been arrested on suspicion of assault. Enquiries are ongoing."
