Arne Slot defended Mohamed Salah despite missing “many opportunities” against Chelsea, insisting the Egyptian is allowed a few duff performances because he’s only human.

Salah has set incredibly high standards since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017, never scoring fewer than 18 Premier League goals a term across eight full seasons.
