Tottenham winger Arnaut Danjuma has sent a defiant message to his teammates following Spurs' 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old, who has been at the club for just over two months after joining on loan from Villarreal, has had to be incredibly patient during his short stay in N17. After making his home bow in last weekend's win over Brighton & Hove Albion, the Netherlands star was given yet more minutes on the pitch against the Cherries, replacing Davinson Sanchez with just over 30 minutes to play in the second half.
It was yet another bright cameo by the winger, who scored his first goal for the club just before the end of normal time to temporarily level the scores. His celebrations were cut short, however, as Tottenham went on to lose the game 3-2 courtesy of a last-minute Dango Ouattara goal.

"My assessment is that today we played two different games. We played a good game until we scored and after we conceded the second goal. What is in the middle is not the mindset we have to use because we started the game well. When we scored we dropped," Cristian Stellini said after the game.
"We dropped again. We have to change this type of mindset. We have said many times that we need to continue to go strong and try to keep the ball in their half of the pitch. We did this only when we were 2-1 down."
While it was a disappointing result for Spurs, Danjuma yet again showed his quality and he has now given Stellini a decision to make ahead of the Lilywhites' next Premier League match against Newcastle on Sunday, April 23. Ahead of the match, which Spurs really do need to win to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive, Danjuma took to Twitter to send a message to his teammates.
The 26-year-old said: "Not meant to be, we gave it our all. Happy to get my first goal in front of the fans, apologies as it had to be against my former club.
"Dust down, back to work. We go again next week."
