Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand was left shocked by a Liverpool fan's request on the opening Saturday of the Premier League season.
Ferdinand was at Craven Cottage this weekend with BT Sport as newly-promoted Fulham hosted the Merseyside club in the early kick-off. A valiant performance by Marco Silva's side saw the London team draw 2-2 with Jurgen Klopp's men.
Liverpool twice came from behind with Mohamed Salah scoring the second equaliser 10 minutes from time. Before the game, Ferdinand was greeting supporters and signing some autographs but was not expecting a request from one Liverpool fan.

One young Red was adamant he wanted Ferdinand's signature, offering his Liverpool shirt as a canvas for the former United centre-back to write on. However, Ferdinand wasn't having any of it.
Filming the conversation and posting it online, Ferdinand can be heard replying: "He has just asked me to sign a Liverpool shirt. Are you crazy?

On hearing that, Ferdinand jokingly commented: "Give me that back, I can't be having that."
