Are the Boston Celtics serious about trying to trade for Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard?
Yahoo Sports reporter Chris Haynes reported the Celtics had reached out to the Blazers to inquire about what it would take to get Lillard’s contract on their books via trade, and Jayson Tatum is reportedly recruiting Dame to join Boston according to ESPN’s Marc J. Spears.
Could a deal that looks something like 2023 Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, All-Defensive big man Robert Williams, reserve guard Peyton Pritchard, restricted free agent Grant Williams, three first-round picks and two pick swaps be enough to get the job done? Or are other ball clubs better positioned to steal away Lillard from Portland?
