Are Boston Celtics star swingmen Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown the best duo in the NBA right now? Versions of this question have been floating around for a while now as the All-NBA forwards have inched closer to being the league’s apex predators. Now, with the Celtics looking like the team to beat halfway through the 2023-24 season, the question carries a bit more heft than usual.
With both Brown and Tatum likely locks to make the 2024 All-Star team and fair bets to get back to being All-NBA as the engine’s behind the Association’s best record at the midpoint of the season, to say they are indeed the best duo in the league is not at all a stretch.
