Arabica Coffee Prices Jump as Tariffs on Brazil May Disrupt Coffee Supplies

September arabica coffee (KCU25) today is up +2.40 (+0.84%), and September ICE robusta coffee (RMU25) is down -121 (-3.49%).

Coffee prices today are mixed, with arabica coffee posting a 1-week high and robusta sliding to a 2-week low.    President Trump's action on Wednesday to raise tariffs on Brazilian goods to 50% is boosting arabica coffee prices, as concerns grow that the higher tariffs will disrupt coffee supplies from Brazil, the world's largest arabica producer.
