July arabica coffee (KCN24) today is up +1.50 (+0.67%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN24) is down -19 (-0.45%).
Coffee prices today are mixed. Arabica coffee is climbing on concern that dry conditions in Brazil will continue with the outlook for limited rain chances in Brazil's coffee-growing regions over the next week. Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil's Minas Gerais region received no rain in the past week. Minas Gerais accounts for about 30% of Brazil's arabica crop. Robusta coffee is under pressure today after ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories rose to an 11-month high of 5,796 lots.
