Arab Parliament Speaker Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Assoumi has commended Saudi Arabia's announcement of $3 billion in financial aid to help the Yemeni economy.

In a statement issued Thursday, Al-Assoumi appreciated the efforts of the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, their constructive initiatives and persistent endeavors in Yemen to reach a political solution.
