Appeal to find owner of dog found on Falkirk street

An appeal has been launched to find this owner of a dog found wandering about an area of Falkirk.

It was discovered by a member of the public on Bank Street in Slamannan and is now in safe hands at Falkirk Police Station in the town centre.

A picture of the brown and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been posted on Facebook in the hope its owner will be found.

The post read: "Found this female staffie, no collar in Bank Street.

"She's safe and well at Falkirk Police Station."

Anyone who recognises the pooch should contact officers on 101.
