AOC hits out at potential use of ‘robot dogs’ to patrol US border

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has slammed the potential use of robot dogs to patrol the US border, saying it is “shameful” that money is being channeled into “militarisation” instead of healthcare and housing.

The New York Democrat took to social media on Saturday to hit out at the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) investment in the technology.
