Her story was highlighted by Actor Anupam Kher who met her during a road journey from Toronto to Detroit following the “Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane” show in Toronto. During the nearly four-hour drive, the passengers discovered that their driver was Mamta Ben, an Indian-origin woman who has spent decades building a life in Canada.
