Antony at Carrington ahead of sealing United transfer switch
Antony was at Carrington on Monday ahead of completing his move from Ajax to Old Trafford.
United will formally announce Antony's move at some point over the next couple of days, with the Brazilian linking back up with Erik ten Hag in a €100million deal. Ten Hag signed Antony for Ajax in 2020 and the pair won back-to-back Eredivisie titles together with Ajax.

For most of the summer, United were reluctant to meet Ajax's valuation of Antony and club figures doubted a deal was doable at the start of July. United's disastrous defeats to Brighton and Brentford prompted more proactive movement in the transfer market, though, with Casemiro signed for a fee rising to £70million despite Ten Hag's fixation on Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Antony made public his desire to leave Ajax before Thursday's transfer deadline, and Ten Hag is desperate to add a left-footed right-sided forward to his squad in order to bring better balance and creativity to the attacking line.
Hannibal completes Birmingham loan move
United youngster Hannibal Mejbri said he is 'honoured' to get the chance to play for Birmingham City after completing his loan move to the Championship club.
The midfielder, who joined United from Monaco in 2019, has linked up with the Midlands outfit on loan for the duration of the 2022/23 campaign. It is the first time that he has left Old Trafford on loan and a full season of regular, first-team football could serve him well.
Following the additions of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro this summer, Hannibal has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag most certainly not light on midfield options.
Hannibal featured twice for United in the Premier League last season, starting the final day defeat to Crystal Palace. However, opportunities were likely to be limited once again this term, meaning a temporary departure should serve him well.
