Antonio Colak Rangers transfer 'interest' from Italy with English clubs 'keen' on Kamara and Wright

Antonio Colak is attracting interest from Italy as more clubs enter the race to snap up the Rangers striker, according to a report.

We previously told how Werder Bremen were interested in a £2million swoop for the Croatian hitman - with a number of clubs in Germany keen on the 29-year-old. Now the Scottish Sun report Serie B rivals Parma and Pisa have lodged an interest but the main issue could be whether he is prepared to drop to Italy's second tier to ply his trade.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst signed the striker from PAOK last summer and he got off to a flying start before being struck down by injury. He then struggled to break into Michael Beale's starting team with Alfredo Morelos the preferred choice up top during the second half of last season. Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers have both arrived this summer to add further depth to the attacking ranks while the Ibrox men still hold an interest in Feyenoord star Danilo.

Colak is reported to be free to depart in order to free up some wages.

He cost £2.5million with Rangers looking to recoup most of that fee.

The Ibrox side are also looking to move on other fringe players with the same report stating Glen Kamara and Scott Wright both have interest from south of the border in the English Championship. Youngster Jay Hogarth also could be farmed out once again on loan with Hartlepool and Oldham both named in the report as interested parties.

Talks remain ongoing with Los Angeles FC over Jose Cifuentes.
