An Antiques Roadshow guest was left gobsmacked when a medieval stone she discovered in a drain was found to be worth thousands.
Expert Adam Schoon was delighted when a woman brought in the stone face of a man with a moustache during Sunday’s show, which took place in Northern Ireland.
He said: “It’s one of the most enigmatic stone carvings I’ve ever come across on the Antiques Roadshow. Where did you get this mysterious figure from?”
