Anthony Joshua reveals he is praying for Mike Tyson in Jake Paul fight prediction

Anthony Joshua admits he is praying for Mike Tyson ahead of the boxing legend’s return to the ring against Jake Paul.

For the first time in almost twenty years, ‘Iron Mike’ will lace up a pair of gloves again in a professional capacity when he meets the crossover YouTube star.

While the sport’s purists will no doubt rail against what has been described as a “freakshow”, there is a degree of interest in regards to what exactly Tyson can do at the age of 58, particularly against a relative novice in Paul.

Undoubtedly one of the most feared heavyweights of his generation, Tyson has assured fans he is in rude health ahead of Friday night’s showdown.

Tyson did, however, pull out of the initial July date after suffering a medical scare in May and the 31-year age gap between the fighters is certainly difficult to ignore.

“He's [Mike Tyson] older now, I pray that he comes out healthy,” Joshua told the Daily Mail.

When asked for a prediction, the British heavyweight added: “I think Jake Paul because of youth—that's the only thing.”
