Ant McPartlin confronts I'm A Celebrity 'intruder' on set as ITV crew called in

Ant McPartlin came face to face with an 'intruder' to the I'm A Celebrity set during filming, as the ITV crew were called into move the creature to safety.

After what felt like weeks and weeks of build up to the All Stars series andan array of different teasers, the special run of the much loved show going on Monday night, uniting former I'm A Celebrity stars from years gone by, including King of the Jungle from 2003, Phil Tufnell and other well known faces like Shaun Ryder and Carol Vorderman.

While it is taking over ITV's primetime schedule for the next few weeks, in reality, All Stars was filmed back in September, meaning the public won't have a single say in how things will pan out, from who does the daily trials to who gets voted out first and, ultimately who wins, as the stars all compete to be the first I'm A Celebrity Legend.

One thing viewers definitely didn't have a say in was the arrival of first latecomer Gillian McKeith, who was delivered to camp inside a box on Tuesday night's show, before the imminent arrival of three more of the I'm A Celeb alumni - Andy Whyment, Georgia Toffolo and Myleene Klass - was teased in a preview for Wednesday.

And Gillian hasn't been the only unexpected guest in camp so far, as, in a video they posted on Twitter, Ant and Dec were seen getting very close to what they branded a 'late arrival' - a bearded dragon that had found its way into the vicinity, before being recovered by one of the team out in South Africa.

In the clip shared to the Ant and Dec account, Ant is seen stroking the creature, before jokingly calling it Antoinette, on finding out that it was in fact a female of the species.

In an ironic twist, bearded dragons then appeared in the latest trial as Georgia Toffolo was chosen by the celebs in the main camp to do the challenge on their behalf.
