Ant and Dec have left fans issuing the same demand in the aftermath of the last episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, having asked for viewers' opinions on the new series of their hit show.
After two years of disrupted series, with Ant and Dec even having to host separately from their living rooms, during the first national lockdown in 2020 and then having to present in front of a virtual audience wall last year, the latest run of the Geordie lads' ITV programme marked a real return to form. A Takeaway crowd was allowed for the first time since early 2020, meaning the studio was packed out every week as Ant and Dec were joined by big names like Paloma Faith, Sam Fender, Michael Buble and Richard E.Grant.
Highlights of this year's series included a live wedding ceremony, which was sprung on the unsuspecting bride as she sat in the audience ready to watch the show; a Surprise Surprise style emotional reunion between a woman brought onto stage to play a game and her daughter who she hadn't seen for years, Oti Mabuse and her hilarious I'm A Celebrity Get Out of My Eara and Polter Guys, the Ghostbusters inspired weekly segment, which included a cast featuring everyone from Roman Kemp to Jo Brand.
