A gutted Ant and Dec won't be at Thursday's National Television Awards after they both tested positive for Covid.
On Wednesday morning, it was revealed that the Geordie hosts had scrapped all immediate work engagements after 'falling sick,' with them having to pull out of Britain's Got Talent special The Ultimate Magician.
Confirming their absence from filming, with Stephen Mulhern stepping into replace them, a source on the programme said: "A BGT spokesperson told the online news outlet: "Ant and Dec are both unwell and have postponed all work commitments until they recover.

"Sadly, this means they were unable to film Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician. Whilst we wish them a speedy recovery, we are thrilled to confirm that BGT’s favourite magician, Stephen Mulhern has stepped in."
And early on Wednesday evening, a post on Ant and Dec' s social media revealed the reason behind their absence was Covid. Posting a photo of two positive tests, the lads wrote: "Sadly it's true, we even get ill together! After feeling unwell a few days ago, we both tested and we're positive for Covid."
They added: "We're resting up at home and are sorry that we can't be at the @officialntas. Best of luck everyone and get well soon to everyone else in the same boat."
While they won't be at the ceremony in London on Thursday, Ant and Dec are still widely expected to win at least award. They are hotly tipped to triumph in the Best Presenter category for the 21st time in a row, while I'm A Celebrity and Saturday Night Takeaway are both up for Best Entrertainment.
