Another warm-up game for Ireland's World Cup-bound stars announced

Ireland will face Zambia this summer ahead of their maiden World Cup campaign.

Vera Pauw’s side will host the Africans in Tallaght Stadium on June 22, with an eye on preparing for their Group B clash with Nigeria in Brisbane.

Zambia finished third in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations – beating Ireland’s World Cup opponents 1-0 in their third/fourth place play-off.

The game will take place two weeks before the visit of France to Dublin.

Ireland are currently in a training camp in Spain and are due to face China on Wednesday, with another training camp set to take place in April.
