It was another solid week in the Great British Bake Off tent for Lanarkshire music teacher Kevin Flynn.
The 33-year-old remains in the competition after sailing through Biscuit Week last night on the hit Channel 4 show.
He was tasked with baking macarons, some fruity favourite garibaldi biscuits, before facing a biscuit mask showstopper challenge.
The Hamilton man's 'Mint Choc Trip' macarons were designed as ice cream cones but judge Paul Hollywood commented the flavour was a bit too strong.
His 12 garibaldi biscuits earned a respectful eighth place in this week's technical challenge. And to top off a fine week in the tent for Kevin, his 'Mythical Mask' showstopper impressed enough to seal a place in Week 3.
On judging the masterpiece, Dame Prue Leith told Kevin: "The whole thing is a joy".
Last night also saw the first of the highly-coveted Hollywood handshakes being awarded to two bakers, but Kevin will need to try again next week to be at the receiving end of this accolade.
Talented Kevin, originally from Motherwell, has been baking since he was 17, but he also teaches and performs music, mainly on saxophone, as well as flute, piano and clarinet.
Going into this year's Bake Off, he said he's looking to utilise his "good command of flavours and technique" and think on his feet if something goes wrong.
He now hopes to make many people in his community proud during his time on the show.
Kevin told Lanarkshire Live : "It feels great to be representing my local community on The Great British Bake Off. Lots of my friends and family are already fans of the show, and I hope I've brought the joy of the show a bit closer to home.
"So many people have gotten in touch with me to wish me the best and to have a laugh at my facial expressions and mishaps! I feel really well-supported.
"I really set out to be myself and to be true to my roots. My accent might be a bit more difficult to pick up in other parts of the country, and the humour might not always translate, but I'm very much playing for the home team!"
Kevin looks forward to his third week in this year's Bake Off tent which will be screened on Tuesday, September 27.
Now down to 10 bakers, contestants will take on three challenges during Bread Week.
As always, the Great British Bake Off sees 12 amateur bakers compete over the series to be crowned Star Baker.
So it's apron on and mixing bowls at the ready for Lanarkshire man Kevin as he looks to claim the coveted prize.
The local contestant now hopes to do enough next week to make into the final nine of the competition.
He will need to make a pizza as well as a Swedish celebration cake.
